CAN I COOK ON THE INDUCTION PROTECTOR / PUT WARM PANS ON IT?
NO, you can NOT cook on the induction protector! And you can NOT put hot pans or appliances on it!
If you're going to cook, take it off by rolling it up and putting it away for a while. After cooking, put the Induction Protector back. It is meant to protect your hob from scratches, dirt and rings. This applies to both types.
CAN I PUT THE INDUCTION PROTECTOR ON A HOTPLATE?
NO, you can't put the Induction Protector on a hotplate! Wait until it has cooled down, then clean it and put the Induction Protector back on.
WHERE DO I KEEP THE INDUCTION PROTECTOR WHILE COOKING?
You roll up the Induction Protector when you're cooking. You put it temporarily on your hood, in a drawer or on top of a cupboard or other place. After cooking (and cleaning your hob) put it back and it will straighten.
CAN I FOLD THE INDUCTION PROTECTOR?
Do not fold the Induction Protector! It's best to roll it up. This prevents damage or annoying folding.
We pack and ship the Induction Protector rolled up in a square box with a protective foam around it. So during shipping nothing can happen with it.
HOW DO I CLEAN THE INDUCTION PROTECTOR?
Wipe the Induction Protector with a clean cloth/kitchen paper and a little detergent. Or another (not too aggressive) detergent. Preferably do not place the Induction Protector on a dirty hob. Keep the underside clean and your hob as well.
MY INDUCTION PROTECTOR DOESN'T STRAIGHTEN EASILY!?
Due to cold or hot weather influences, the Induction Protector may not straighten as quickly as normal during shipping. The material should be given some time to warm up to room temperature and will then lie well on the hob.
CAN I ORDER ANY SIZE?
Yes, the Induction Protector can be ordered in all sizes!
And it comes with 3 mm (1,12inch) extra material on all sides. In this way, the Induction Protector lies well on the hob and offers optimal protection.
Please indicate your size when ordering in the 'Comment field'.
The exact size: width x height in centimeters.
I HAVE A HOB WITH THE EXTRACTOR IN/LOWER.
Hobs with the extraction system inside can also be covered with an Induction Protector:
We take into account the extra overlap of material for all types out there, so that the Induction Protector lies well over the cooktop with this system.
Please indicate with your order that it is a cooktop with extraction system. And how many mm it is 'up'.
We do not make a 'hole' or recess in the Induction Protector. It falls completely over it.
There will always be a slight bulge where the extractor is. It is therefore possible that the Induction Protector forms itself to this bulge.
Because there is an upright element on the hob, you will see this under the material that falls over it.
Do you have a hob with an exhaust coming up behind it? This can also be protected by taking the size that runs up to and including that suction.
